The Proximity filter control allows you to add a proximity search function into the Information Panel. It is located at the upper right corner of the Information Panel.
Do note that if the Info filter controls are not defined, you will only see the Proximity filter control in the Information Panel.
Click on any pin to display the Information Panel. At the upper right corner of the Information Panel, key in the desired distance in the text box next to “Proximity”. Select the appropriate unit from the drop-down list and select the checkbox on the left of “Proximity”.
The pins outside the defined distance disappear from the map, leaving those within the defined distance.

For the proximity search function to work properly, the Coordinates property in the Geo dataset must have a “2dshpere” index set.
